NFL: Week 5 Sunday Afternoon Open Thread

It’s game time for the 5th week in the 2017 season of the National Football League. In AFC West, the Denver Broncos have a Bye Week so even if the Kansas City Chiefs lose in Houston tonight, they’re still in first place. The other teams joining Denver on the sidelines this weekend include Washington, Atlanta and New Orleans.

Also in the AFC West, the Baltimore Ravens are visiting the driver-less (Carr-less) Oakland Raiders and I won’t be one bit surprised to see the boys in black go down like Sonny Liston rushing to collect his payoff.

The perfect (0-4) L.A. Chargers will be traveling back East to take on the perfect (0-4) New York Giants. In this case, the Bolts look to have a good chance at coming out of this game with their first imperfection to their record… a win. That’s my bet of the day, the Chargers will go to 1-4 by beating up a badly coached Giants squad.

The rest of the games look like this:

The Sunday and Monday nights games:

It appears to me that a high percentage of visiting teams could be the winners this week. What’s your take?
