Tuesday Morning OPEN THREAD: Gettleman Anyone?

The Carolina Panthers decided to give John Dorsey some company riding the pine in the GM unemployment line. Gee, I almost made a rhyme this time. Now, some Chiefs fans are wondering if Dave Gettleman would make a good replacement for Brett Veach because the Chiefs got rid of him as their Director of Player Personnel by promoting his office space to the big room down the hallway. I think it’s more likely that Dorsey ends up in Gettleman’s saddle. While the biggest story running seems to be whether or not it’s even constitutional to fire a GM in June or July… fans of the men in red and gold better be careful or the beginning of training camp will sneak up on them like kids trick-or-treating because guess what? Training camp begins next week. Most players will arrive a week from Friday on July 28th, rookie and newbies are expected a couple of days before that (which fans are not welcome to observe). I must confess, I will not be at the first parts of training camp unless a miracle happens and my house sells here in Texas soon. I had it sold a week ago and the buyers got cold feet. Sorry… because I was prepared to upload videos here at AO from camp. Now we’ll have to wait and rely on the usual suspects. Which reminds me… it’s been four years now since B.J. Kissel has been with the Kansas City Chiefs so a big shout out to him: CONGRATULATIONS!

If there’s anything you’d like to post about today, have at it. Happy July 18th everyone!. BTW… Seth Keysor is doing some great work breaking down film on the Chiefs LT Eric Fisher.
