We’re Baaack! The Vets Return

Screen Shot 2016-07-24 at 9.35.52 PMWith the Kansas City Chiefs training camp about to get back in the full swing of things, veteran players are arriving today.

Here are a collection of tweets to keep you up to the minute on the “Red & Gold” carpet arrivals.

I’m re-posting this here because it’s interesting that Knile Davis has tweeted this out on the very day the Chiefs veterans are all expected back at camp. Is he anticipating being traded… or traded specifically to the Patriots?

That photo of Sherman reminds me of the George Washington University fight song. One line from it is “Hail to the buff and blue”.

Must have missed this one. Remember the long snapper, Andrew East, from Vanderbilt. He tried out with the Chief last year, but, ended up losing out to Winchester. He was cut by the Chiefs and signed with Seattle. However, they cut him and the Raiders have added him as a backup to their very good long snapper.

I thought East would win the job here. Was surprised by what went down there.

He’s looking rather thin there… first thing that caught my eye was his knees. Hmmm…..

you mean those stick figure looking things are legs? All joke aside, Neon Deon Sanders absolutely swears that the fastest guys out there have skinny calves, jus’ sayin’.

    Practice tired. Yes, sir.

I don’t like any Chief going to NE but would be great to get something for Knile (a 6th maybe?). Would that free up enough cap space for when Berry signs?

    • ladner morse

Knile will make $675,000 this year but he has a cap hit of $700,000 so trading him appears to the only way money will be saved. Even so… that’s not a lot of cap help.

I see where Maclin carried his own TV into the dorm.
