With the 46th pick in the 2018 draft,
the Kansas City Chiefs select,
edge rusher Breeland Speaks
Breeland Speaks: Head Coach Andy Reid says of him, "The thing that amazed me about him… is that he was never on the ground and the way he used his hands, it was really something." Here's what he means, "never on the ground." pic.twitter.com/KPWgXxMhPq

Speaks wore the #9, had 67 tackles (27 solo), 8 tackles-for-loss and 7 sacks in 2017. Breeland speaks is 6-foot-3, 286 and I think he was drafted to play DE but Andy Reid says he’ll start him out at OLB then use him as a DE in 3rd down situations.
Andy Reid said this about Breeland Speaks,
“You’re getting a passionate player who’s going to play with relentless effort and who’s basically not going to give up on any plays. You’re getting somebody who’s just a hard worker, a blue-collar guy from Mississippi.”
Reid also said he and Brett veach watch every piece of film on Speaks,
“… I watched every game that the kid played. I can’t tell you I’ve done that with every player. That’s not what I’m doing. But he [Veach] gives me a heads up on who to look at . . . This was one where he and I sat together and watched every snap.”
The @Chiefs 2nd round pick, Breeland Speaks, is a big bodied DE/OLB type reminiscent of Tamba Hali. His natural position is the right side so Justin Houston can stay put. Here he goes around 2 players for the sack.#NFLDraft2018 #BreelandSpeaks pic.twitter.com/O0eGrdHiBl

ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. says Ole Miss DE Breeland Speaks is "the most underrated defensive player" in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Breeland Speaks never gives up on a play/has a great motor. He usually does a good job of setting the edge but, here are 2 plays where the RB gets outside, so watch as he 1) dives to catch the RB after he makes his cut, 2) plays the RPO perfectly & drives the RB out of bounds. pic.twitter.com/waH0A9IwMt

Derrick Nnadi is strong, part 2. Takes on a double team, and rather than getting driven back ends up driving them to the ball carrier. Really, really impressive snap. pic.twitter.com/TOITFv8cWU

With the 100th & last pick in the 3rd round
of the 2018 draft, the Kansas City Chiefs
select, LB Dorian O’Daniel
I evaluated Dorian O'Daniel as a safety because he plays around 215. He is a very good football player. #Chiefs fans should be excited.
