Michael Travis Rose – Senior Writer – Major Contributor

Hi, I’m Travis, a writer here at Arrowhead One. I’ve been a Chiefs fan for over 25 years, ever since Joe Montana donned #19 in the Red & Gold. I found my home in Chiefs Kingdom and will never leave. I’ve been writing online since 2014.

Ransom Hawthorne – Senior Writer – Major Contributor – NOT CURRENTLY ACTIVE

I was born in KS grew up in Tucson AZ and spent three years in Mexico (my parents are missionaries). My family didn’t watch sports of any kind, but my Uncle was a Chiefs fan. Started watching Monday Night Football with my Dad and Grandpa when his health went downhill. The first full season I watched was Todd Hayley’s first year. I live in McPherson KS, I’m married, an electrician, and I have two boys a three-year-old and a one-year-old and both can say TOUCHDOWN! Feel free to use however much or little of that as you want. -Ransom Hawthorne, aka; “Chiefly Bacon”

Laddie Morse – Senior Writer – Creator and Administrator

I was born in Austin, Texas, and raised in Southern California. The L.A. Rams were my first football love but I spent my days in the front yard pretending I was Jim Brown mowing down tacklers… essentially my younger brother and his little buddies or any other neighborhood kid I could find. After two knee surgeries from all kinds of football and sports related injuries — in the 8th and 10th grades — I decided… if I couldn’t play football… I’d go into coaching. So, off to college I went, first in Iowa… then back to California… then Iowa… then California… then Iowa again (I was a very confused young man)… and then Northern Arizona University (NAU) where I ended up with a degree in Elementary Education. You see, I had to get a summer job to pay the tuition at NAU and ended up at a preschool to keep from taking out any college loans and in the process came to feel that young children were everything I’d imagined coaching would be. I moved to Kansas City after college and fell in love with the Chiefs. I’d visited K.C. in the summer of 1970 while at a volleyball tournament and stayed with friends who worshiped the Chiefs… and my fascination with these newly crowned Super Bowl Champions has never gone away. I’ve written more than 700 songs and poems and over 1,000 feature-length articles about the Kansas City Chiefs. To say I love the Chiefs would be understated. Along with my great passion for writing, is a marriage made in heaven for me. I have a grown daughter with a family, who all mean the world to me, including a talented son-in-law and two cool grandkids. Plus… and here’s your Bonus Round information… I got married in the fall of 2016.
