Screen Shot 2016-07-24 at 9.35.52 PMThe first week of training camp is in the books. A schedule of the Kansas City Chiefs practices this week looks like this:

Sunday, August 7- 8:15 AM

Monday, August 8- 9:15 AM

Tuesday, August 9- 8:15 AM

Wednesday, August 10- 8:15

Thursday, August 11- NO PRACTICE

Friday, August 12- NO PRACTICE

Saturday, August 13- 3:30 PM- 1st Preseason Game– Chiefs host the Seahawks

So, your Kansas City Chiefs are now on a game- week schedule which means they are focused this week on their opponent and will be for the next 5 months (6½ if we’re lucky). That also means there will be football to watch every weekend from now until the middle of February.

In this thread we’ll post tweets about today’s practice and chat about them. I will be in and out this morning (church) so I am leaving you with a Mission Impossible task… in 30 seconds after reading this your computer will not blow up. Anyway, here are directions on how to copy/paste tweets, right here on this post on Disqus.

Firstly, here are the Twitter accounts I like to keep open in several tabs across the top of my screen.

Pete Sweeney

B.J. Kissel (Chiefs Reporter)

If you have other Twitter accounts you like to use please share them here. Here are the 4 easy steps to posting a tweet here on the Disqus commenting system.

1. Opening multiple tabs

Right-click with your mouse on any of the links above and go to, Open Link in New Tab. Click on that tab above to access their website.

2. Copying a tweet

Click on the three dots at the bottom of a tweet that you’d like to repost… and go down to “Embed Tweet” and click on it. A new little window will pop up that shows you the tweet so, using the keys on your keyboard, hold down the Crtl+C keys at the same time and release and you will have copied the tweet (on a Mac it is the Command+C keys).

3. Pasting the tweet

Go to the tab at the top of your screen and click on ArrowheadOne, then click once with you mouse in a Disqus comment box. Using your keyboard, hold down the Crtl+V keys to paste it (on a Mac it is the Command+V keys).

4. Posting the Tweet

Lastly, click the Post As button in the lower right hand corner of the Disqus text box.

Once I have pasted a tweet I look up at the tabs for a little number to pop up on a tab and that lets me know there are new tweets to see. Go back to that website tab and click on “View New Tweets” at the top of that site and start the process all over again. Enjoy!

Here’s is a tweet that came in late yesterday and a couple from earlier in the day that need your in-depth examination of course.

Looks like John Dorsey continues to turn the roster over:

If Jeremy Maclin is anointing Streater… I say we’ve got our new slot man (or at least one of them).

Inside linebackers Ramik Wilson and Justin March have looked so good in camp that whenever D.J. decides to hand it up, we’re covered!
