The Chiefs Playoff Picture Comes Into Focus

The Chiefs Playoff Picture Comes Into Focus – Bringing in a blur to be focused, there are many playoff possibilities, some are confusing, many do not have the complete vital stats. Here, I’ll do my best and hope to paint a clearer picture, while using as many stats as are needed.

The Playoff Qualifiers and Tiebreakers

The entire NFL Official playoff tiebreaker procedures can be viewed via this link: Operations NFL. The number 1 seeded team, which gets the only first round bye this year, is determined by the following tiebreakers.

Playoff Pictures

The same system that we’ve seen in previous years works like a tournament bracket, as in every round the highest seeded team plays the lowest remaining seeded team. In round one the 1st seeded team gets a bye, then #2 plays #7; #3 plays #6; and #4 plays #5. Then round two #1 seeded team plays the lowest remaining seeded team. This continues through rounds.

The Final Say

Clear as mud, correct? I hope that I painted a somewhat clearer picture for all to understand. I believe we will see many closely played games in all rounds, but in the end, the teams with high octane offenses, and just good enough defenses to cause turnovers, or limit TDs being scored… will come out on top. The clear part is that the Kansas City Chiefs will be standing on the Super Bowl podium holding the Lambeau Trophy for the second year in a row.
