Aaron Murray’s Time with the Chiefs is Over
The Kansas City Chiefs have done with Aaron Murray what they have done with other veteran players by cutting them loose days in advance of the cut-down date allowing them to seek another team before the onslaught of releases flood the market.
It’s now clear who has won out in this race for the back-up to the back-up quarterback for the Chiefs. ProFootballTalk (PFT) has stated,
“Murray, a fifth-round pick in 2014, has been waived, per a source with knowledge of the situation. The third-year player’s source was likely sealed when the quarterback drafted by coach Andy Reid in Philadelphia became available to be signed. With Nick Foles in the fold, a numbers game arose that Murray ultimately lost.”
The writing was on the wall for Murray. Even Adam Teicher noticed Murray’s poor performance this preseason,
Aaron Murray probably wasn’t going to make it to regular season anyway, but he’s not giving the Chiefs any reason for doubt

For three years the debate has gone back and forth and now it’s clear that Tyler Bray is the man… behind the man… behind the man.
What do you think Chiefs fans? Agree? Disagree?
