Armani Watts is a Hit Machine

Out of all the picks in the Kansas City Chiefs 2018 draft, Armani Watts is the only one I knew anything about. He had 324 tackles in his college career. Three-hundred and twenty-four. If your’e not amazed by that, you should be. Go ahead and count up to 324 right now…. I’ll give you some time… I’m waiting… still waiting… I’ll give you some more time. Decided to call it quits and just read the rest of this article didn’t you. I don’t blame you. I’m sure the opposition was tired of being tackled by Armani Watts too. Now, his tackles aren’t your friendly neighborly front yard football kinda tackles. He literally lit people up. I’m sure there are ex-college players still telling the story about the day that Armani Watts hit them. Don’t believe me? Whatever! I’ll explain more in a few minutes… maybe three minutes and 45 seconds. You all know I’m kind of a wordy guy. However, I decided that today, instead of writing like my life depended on it… that I’d show you … in a graceful way… how impressive Armani Watts tackling really has been. First…

I could have gone with Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture but there’s really only one big moment in that piece. I could have gone with Prokofiev: Symphony No. 5 in B flat minor but its lasts more than 30 minutes and Armani Watts probably does have enough hits to fill that video… however, I don’t have the stamina. It is incredibly beautiful and if you have an inkling you should check it out.

You can get into the strong safety, free safety stuff, but we do so much high-low stuff with our free safeties so they have to be interchangeable. The more I watch tape on Armani Watts, the more I think his tape is the best tape out of all the Chiefs picks.
