We have seen Justyn Ross play on 15 snaps out of a possible 132 so far this season. In my mind, that’s not nearly enough. For a player who was the training camp wonder-boy, it represents a sort of betrayal from his coaches. I can’t for the life of me figure out why the Chiefs don’t take more advantage of his red zone threat up high, like Ross provides (0:39).

First-year NFL referee Alan Eck and his crew have been assigned to the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Chicago Bears game in Week 3 per Football Zebras. Eck was promoted from umpire (on Land Clark’s crew) to referee for the start of the 2023 NFL season following the retirement of 16-year veteran Jerome Boger.
