Big News Overnight: Chiefs DON’T Trade Tyreek Hill

Big News Overnight: Chiefs DON’T Trade Tyreek Hill – The Chiefs could orchestrated a trade to bring top Cornerback Jalen Ramsey to the Chiefs from the Jaguars, and send Hill to Jacksonville in return. The trade would be a straight up exchange. Jacksonville desperately needs a #1 WR while the Chiefs, who had been in a rapid rebuild of their defense, are lacking a shutdown cornerback. The change would be a huge solution and fulfill big needs for both organizations. That’s just one scenario that fans have suggested of course: there’s also the, Hill for Patrick Peterson + a First Round Pick trade possibility… and the possible trade ranting goes on and on.

Except none of that is going to happen.

Lyle Graversen has a unique take on whether or not the Chiefs could/should trade Hill:

The key there is that, he doesn’t want K.C. to trade Hill.

A huge net explosion of speculation occurred Saturday on Twitter and other social media when a rumor of a Hill trade surfaced. Calls for immediate release of Hill less than a month ago, along with varied condemnations and threats of violent retribution were due to punish Hill and those included have been hanging over the organization. It was my contention all along that we did not know the facts and that any rush to judgement which was going on with fervor and all of it negative to Mr. Hill.

Nuff sed.

Now, when you read rumors of postings about Tyreek and his “release” or a trade you could witness a far more balanced opinion about Hill, many voices decrying a trade as being foolish, some stating that it would be understandable, some neutral and others saying well, it’s about time.

The point I am making is that Hill was not convicted of any crime. No legal action other than what was enacted due to the type of arrest and the injury to a child took place and such action by county and state was automatically initiated to fulfill the need to protect a child.

This article is a change of pace and I thought it would be a good point in time to look at ourselves and the fickleness we possess in terms of rooting for our team and our favored players.

More to come in later responses to this today: standby for the commentary that will accompany this posting. Maybe it’s time for you to go back and review just how much you jumped with both feet into judgement and It seemed to me that reading responses about this as a potential trade, it was time to review our own fallibility.
