Breeland “Packs” His Bags, Thomas Going to KC?
by Laddie Morse
Bashaud Breeland has signed with the Green Bay Packers. Any hopes that the Kansas City Chiefs have in upgrading their cornerback position during the 2018 season has seriously taken a hit.
#Packers signed CB Bashaud Breeland, as @RobDemovsky said. Replaces Davon House, who was put on IR. A 4-year starter in Washington, Breeland could be the type of free-agent addition you don’t often see in September. Gives depth to a beat-up secondary.

Breeland has been a productive corner in his time with the Washington Redskins:

While the Chiefs could have used the kind of production Breeland was capable of, they now have turned their attention elsewhere. It looks like a possible trade with the Seattle Seahawks for premiere Safety Earl Thomas could be happening.

Earl Thomas helps fix the Chiefs most vulnerable position on the field… in a big way.
