With 90 prospects reviewed and ranked, the Lazy Big Board is complete. I have to tell you, it gives me immense respect for the guys who make real big boards. There are a zillion prospects out there, and you can’t find tape on half of the day three guys. As tough as it was to cover these 90 guys, I can’t imagine doing a tape study on every single guy in the draft. So what is the Lazy Big Board for? Several things. First, it hopefully gives you a chance of recognizing some of the players the Chiefs pick. Second, you can use it as a guide when doing mock drafts with a draft generator like Fanspeak. Finally, you could use it to assemble a dream draft by picking one prospect in each round-off the big board. If you want to, choose a method for your mock draft then post the draft and your method in the comments section.

Just one more month till the NFL draft. Honestly, it wouldn’t shock me if the Chiefs traded down or up in the first and moved around after that. It’s entirely possible that not a single one of these 90 guys gets drafted by the Chiefs, but there’s a hand-full I’ve grown really fond of, so I hope to recognize at least some of the names as they are called. I’m really interested in Eric Medina, Joe Williams, and Darell Daniels, and hopefully Chief can get them as UDFA, if they don’t pick them in the draft. Josh Malone is massively underrated, reminds me a lot of Chris Conely. To me, the biggest story of the draft will be which team takes a risk on Sidney Jones. If the Chiefs traded down to the high 2nd round, they’d be in a prime spot to take him and probably pick up an extra third round pick to boot. Whoever Dorsey picks first is going to have some high expectations. With back to back HRs in Marcus Peters and Chris Jones, this year’s pick is certain to be highly scrutinized. To all you time-wasters out there, happy mock drafting. Go Chiefs!
