I am embarrassed to say, but I am feeling a little greedy this Christmas season and want several things. Such as…
#1 Harmony– to see the Chiefs offense working together in perfect harmony. 11 men, all in tune in perfect melodiousness sleighing their way through the remainder of the regular season and playoffs!
#2 Joy and Happiness– the joy of seeing the Chiefs advance to their 4th Super Bowl in 5 seasons and the happiness it brings every soul throughout all of Chiefs kingdom.
#3 Peace– the peace of knowing the Chiefs have taken full advantage of a season with no clear AFC team in command and possibly the easiest route to the Superbowl that they have experience in their 6-year run with St. Patrick at the reins.
#4 Health and prosperity– that every Chiefs player makes it through the playoffs strong and healthy….and in doing so, finishes the 2023 football season wearing a beautiful new diamond studded Super Bowl ring… and a little Jingle all the way.
#5 Love– most importantly is love. That every man, woman, and child put their differences aside and help one another and be there for each other and respect one another.
Tis the season Chiefs Kingdom. Merry Yuletide! Ho Ho Ho.
Go Chiefs!

“All I Want for Christmas” for the Chiefs is a meaningful victory over the Raiders on 12-25-2023. That would be perfect! Thanks Santa! Taking care of business is the only job the team has!

All I Want for Christmas for the CHIEFS is a new, yet familiar Christmas story. Last year everyone wanted Veach and Spags publicly tarred a feathered until the D and WR group got good enough to win a Super Bowl. The prior season it was Spags and Butker set to ruin everything and waste years of Patrick Mahomes. Many years ago, in 2017 we traded a ton a draft capital to move up for a “project” QB. Things all worked out nicely. This holiday season, I want the offense and WR corps to finally gel, Reid and Nagy to open the playbook, and the CHIEFS to play in a sixth consecutive AFC Championship game. Knocking out these three remaining opponents is the first step. We have an elite kicker, a top flight D, Patrick Mahomes and a shot at the #1 seed. The skies are merry and bright in CHIEFS Kingdom!

All I want for Christmas is addition by subtraction: less penalties, less focus drops, less gimmick-y plays in the Redzone, less targets to 11, 81, and 24. I’d also love less promises to fix things, less fake outrage at reporters legitimate questions (looking at you MVS), less turnovers, less injuries, less suspensions and less 50/50 balls being completed 90% of the time. In a season, often marred by materialism, it’s good to remember that sometimes less is more. Learn to simplify, appreciate what you have, and get rid of things you don’t need, don’t use, or trip over. Sometimes, with a little less, we can all win a lot more. Merry Christmas!

The Chiefs defense is already on lock this season, so for Christmas all I want is for the offense to play up to their potential: eliminate mistakes and catch passes. If they can do that consistently for the remainder of the regular and post-season, and if Mahomes continues to play well, I truly believe the Chiefs will be unstoppable! That’s not too much to ask, so please make it happen, Santa!

All I want for Chiefsmas this year is… the number one seed in the AFC for our Kansas City Chiefs. If the K.C. can play all of their games in the playoffs this year at Home, I believe it increases their chances to make it to another Super Bowl tenfold. I live in the area near Arrowhead Stadium and I think the Stadium has the best tailgating and fans ever. I hope our fans can bring the noise and heat to the games in the last three weeks and that the wideouts can will awaken and become one of the best core groups in the NFL… just like the Chiefs leaders had originally designed.

Oh yea… and I want for Charlie Brown to be able to finally kick that football… and I don’t care if he makes a field goal or not… just kick the darned thing! I guess he just needed a new holder, that’s all.

Merry Christmas to one and all, and God bless us every one.
