On Monday Night Football, in front of the whole nation — world — the Kansas City Chiefs lost a big game billed as a Super Bowl Rematch to the Philadelphia Eagles, 21-to-17. The reality is the Chiefs wide receivers dropped way to many passes at exactly the wrong times — when the game was on the line — and now the team stands at 7-and-3, and are still atop the AFC Conference (in the loss column).

The Philadelphia Eagles won the toss and deferred. Each team had a three-and-out and then Patrick Mahomes led his team on a 10-play 80-yard drive resulting in a TD.

Next, the Eagles marched 9 plays for a and kicker Jake Elliott bounced his extra point off the left upright, but it went through.

K.C. then went three-and-out.

Jalen Hurts then threw an INT to L’Jarius Sneed after just 4 plays but the Patrick Mahomes also threw an INT in the End Zone to Kevin Byard after 9 plays.

Next, the Eagles gained one first down but had to Punt three plays later. Kadarius Toney return the Punt 21 yards to the Philly 45. 7 plays later K.C. scored their second TD on a pass in the flat to Travis Kelce.

After a 3-and-out, caused by the Chiefs Defense, their offense drove to the Eagles 25 yard line and place kicker Harrison Butker kicked a 43 yard field Goal.

Since Philly won the toss they took the ball first in the second half but they Punted. The K.C. Punted after four plays. The Eagles Punted again after a 3-and-out. K.C. then had a 3-and-out but the Eagles scored on their next possession.

Jalen Hurts then scrambled up the middle for a ten yard TD run. Jake Elliott kicked the extra point and the Eagles came close.

On a 12 play drive, the Chiefs drove to the Philly 14 yard line but Travis Kelce fumbled the ball and Philly recovered.

The Eagles wasted their opportunity and after a 3-and-out, they Punted. K.C. had a 6-and-out then Punted again themselves.

The Eagles then drove for 7 plays and scored the go-ahead TD.

Eagles 21, Chiefs 17.

A Punt by Philly, and a Punt by K.C. and a turnover on Down and that was the end of the game.

Earlier in the game, when K.C. had hopes of winning, Justin Watson scored on a TD pass from Patrick Mahomes (0:08):

Before anyone had scored in this game, rookie WR Rashee Rice was thrown a ball in the right flat and after he caught the ball, he made one heck of a juke move to get free and pick up more yards down to the ten yard line (0:06):

Once again, the Chiefs scored ZERO points in the second half of a football game this year. In the first half, Travis Kelce was free in the left flat and scored a TD (0:08):

Dropped passes by Chiefs Wide Receivers is still a story many will want to write about. Sadly. Rashee Rice, the Chiefs rookie WR had a drop in this game. So did Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Justin Watson to end the Chiefs last possession (0:40):

Even the fan at Arrowhead Stadium reacted to the dropped passes (0:03):

Yes, Travis Kelce had a TD — shown earlier — but he also had a fumble after catching a pass from Patrick Mahomes (0:16):

Although ESPN noted that TE Travis Kelce had his first game since 2014 with a drop and a fumble, it all begins with QB Patrick Mahomes and he threw an INT to help (hurt) the cause (0:06):
