It’s been a whole weeks since our Kansas City Chiefs won Super Bowl LVIII and it feels like it’s been a year with all that’s happened. Without further adieu, let’s get into it.
.
It was great to see the love shared by Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift right after the Chiefs Super Bowl victory. Their individual greatness has been on display this week following the horrendous shooting at the end of the SB Parade when they each donation $100K to the victims involved. While many may say it was a drop in the bucket for them because they are Millionaires and Billionaires, it’s still worth noting.
.
.
The Hate focused at Taylor Swift is totally unwarranted and personally I don’t understand the animosity. A worldwide personality in Taylor Swift has fallen in love with one of our own beloved players and the best Tight End to ever play the game. What’s to dislike? If Kingdom fans are mad because of the cameras cutting away to Swift and her crew during games, that’s something I don’t get either. I wish we had a camera fixed on her throughout the game that we could access online at any moment in time. Why not? It’s all entertainment… football… singing… why not ingest it all as much as possible? What do you think?

Their names are Paul Contreras and Trey Filter and they are Heroes in every sense of the word.
.
.
.
Paul and Trey may have made the biggest tackle of any in Kansas City history. From People.com Trey said:
.
“There was a lot of commotion, I could definitely tell that someone was being chased. Couldn’t see much but heard ‘Get him,’ saw a flash next to me and I remember I jumped and remember thinking, ‘I hope this is who they were talking about…. We were pretty elated once we knew we had him. They started yelling, ‘There’s a gun, there’s a gun,’ so we were pretty steadfast in holding him down there.”
.
From Today.com Paul Contreras was quoted as saying:
.
“It was just a reaction. He was running the wrong way. There was another gentleman just screaming at the top of his lungs, ‘This guy, tackle him. I wasn’t sure until he came running, and I had a perfect angle to do what I did. I took him down. As I took him down, I see the weapon, the gun, fall to the ground. Whether I hit it out of his hand or it fell out of his jacket — because he was wearing a bulky jacket — I see it. … So I knew right then and there, ‘OK, he’s got one weapon and this one’s on the ground. He may have another one.”
.
Contreras continued…
.
“When I took him down to the ground, his hood went over his head so he was face down the whole time,” he said. “I had him face down to the ground with me on top of him and another good Samaritan who helped me.”
.
The two people who were arrested have been sent to juvenile detention and because they are under aged, their identities’ can’t yet be revealed. They will have a court hearing to determine if they will be tried s adults and if they are, then their names will come out to the public.
.
When Mecole Hardman caught the pass that won the Super Bowl at the end of the first over time period, he said afterwards that he blacked out and that it wasn’t until Patrick Mahomes came running towards him that he realized they had won the game.
.
.
Hardman said:
.
I ain’t gonna lie, I caught that pass, and I blacked out. I didn’t know what was going on until I see Patrick running to me, I’m like oh, we just won.”
.
It’s still hard for me to see Hardman returning to the Chiefs roster in 2024 unless he takes a sweetheart of a deal.
.
It’s time to focus on the next Championship, Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans in February of next year.

ArrowheadOne has already published articles on the upcoming season. Here’s a few of them:

Yes, this year’s team proved that indeed, “Defense Does Win Championships”… of course it doesn’t hurt at all when you have the best Quarterback and the best Tight End and the best Head Coach in the business taking care of things on the other side of the ball. Sportsnaut.com ranks all NFL Defenses for the upcoming season and the Chiefs come in at #4. Here’s what they said about the Chiefs:
.
“If the Kansas City Chiefs can re-sign All-Pro defensive tackle Chris Jones and top cornerback L’Jarius Sneed, they will have one of the best NFL defenses in 2024. Steve Spagnuolo is better than ever as a defensive play-caller and the emergence of Trent McDuffie, George Karlaftis and Leo Chenal are huge for this defense moving forward. However, Kansas City might not have the cap space to retain both defensive stars and if Jones is the one who leaves, it will likely result in a significant step-back for this pass rush.”
.
I’m not so sure how K.C. could afford these Free Agents, but SportsNaut.com has also projected that these are some FAs the Chiefs may be interested in:
