Chiefs Host 49ers, Preseason Game 3: OPEN THREAD – if you can get tuned into tonight’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers on time, you should get to see the best preview of the season that you’ll see before week one of the regular season rolls around. While week one of the regular season is only two weeks and a day away, it can seem like light years from now if you’ve been having a football hangover ever since you know who hung his head over the line of scrimmage last January. Now, now… i promised myself that I’ stop talking about that incident… adn tonight’s game… at least the first half… should be a good reason to stop thinking about that altogether.

It doesn’t seem likely that Bosa or Ford will suit up for this one. However, be prepared that if Dee Ford does take the field, he’ll get booed.
Here are some numbers to keep and eye on. It’s highly probable that the coaches already know who they want to keep for the final 53 man roster so for them, this is just a formality. None of that will be decided in the first half. The players who “could” make the Chiefs roster will be on display in the second half unless Reid changes his mind and pulls the plug on the starters early.
