The Kansas City Chiefs will be shooting for a 9-and-0 record today and their 15th straight wins over the past two season, including the playoffs culminating in a Super Bowl victory. The Chiefs 2024 season looks like this so far:
.
.
.
So, the Chiefs have won 14 straight games dating back to Christmas Day in 2023 when they lost to the Las Vegas Raiders in Arrowhead. They then won their last two regular season games. So, the rest of their opponents in this streak looks like this:

If you’re wondering what the longest winning streaking NFL history is, here’s the top 5… or 3…?:

Weather Report
Here’s the Weather Report for Sunday at noon adapted from information by weather.com. The game begins at 12 – noon.

Looks like perfect weather for Tailgating and BBQing.

Predictions
The Denver Gazette has predictions for this game and most of their writers are predictions a win for K.C..
.
Paul Klee’s pick: Chiefs 23, Broncos 13
Chris Schmaedeke’s pick: Chiefs 21, Broncos 14
Chris Tomasson’s pick: Chiefs 24, Broncos 17
Mark Kiszla’s pick: Broncos 20, Chiefs 17
.
..
“The Chiefs are the worst undefeated team in the NFL.
Wait … what? You’re right, K.C. is the league’s only
undefeated team. Not after Sunday and the first
signature game of Bo Nix’s pro career.”
.
“The worst undefeated team.” ??? Let’s wait until after the game to see about that one.
.
Bo Nix
Bo Nix is said to be improving over the course of his rookie year. However, their is a stat that tells another story. That stat is career completion percentage. HIs current completion percentage is 62.6% and that mean 27 other active QBs have a better completion percentage. Which just so happens to include Carson Wentz, the Chiefs backup QB. Over Nix’s first 5 games he had a 61.36 passing percentage… and over his last four games he had a 63.1 average Completion percentage. That’s a 1.74 completion percentage improvement. Or, is that no improvement at all?

The Broncos Record
There’s an article for predominantlyorgange.com, a web site for Fansided about the Broncos and author Lou Scataglia says:
.
“A whopping 18 teams in the NFL have a worse record
than the Denver Broncos. Those teams would be the
Patriots, Jaguars, Saints, Panthers, Browns, Raiders,
Giants, Dolphins, Titans, Jets, Cowboys, Bengals,
Colts, Buccaneers, Seahawks, Rams, 49ers, and Bears.
They also have the same record as the Arizona Cardinals,
so there are just 12 teams in the league with a better
record than Denver thus far.”
.
While I appreciate the work of Lou Scataglia… however, if your counting the teams with a worse record than your team has, just to hype your team up, even if it’s only in your own mind… something is wrong. The Broncos are only one game above .500 while K.C. is 8 games ahead of that. In fact, if the CHiefs win today, they’ll be assured of a winning season for the 12 years in a row. IOW, since Andy Reid came to town in 2012. This is from statmuse.com:
.
“Between November 9, 2020 and November 9, 2024,
the Kansas City Chiefs have the most wins by a team,
with 51 wins.”
.
Here’s the voice of the Chiefs, Mitch Holthus, and Chiefs Beat writer Matt McMullen:

Who do you think will win today?
