Meet your three new Kansas City Chiefs.
From left to right, first round pick, RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire, second round pick, ILB Willie Gay Jr., and 3rd round pick, OT Lucas Niang.
Today, day three, the Kansas City Chiefs will welcome two more prospects into the Kingdom. Here is a list of the best remaining prospects according to NBC Sports… minus the QBs and RBs because it’s rather unlikely they’ll be selecting either of those positions. I’ve also highlighted the Cornerbacks because there’s been so much recent concern about the Chiefs at that position. These prospects are split into two lists of 30 each, the top 30 are listed first:
There are 14 CBs listed here, my hope is that at least one of them ends up in red and gold… knock on wood. I’m most familiar with Bryce Hall and Darnay Holmes so if one of those two became Chiefs I’d be thrilled. However… VKB… Veach Knows Best!
Rounds 4, 5, 6, and 7 begin today at 12:00 PM CDT. Teams will get 5 minutes for regular (or compensatory) picks in rounds 4 & 5 and since the Chiefs don’t currently have any picks in rounds 6 or 7, we don’t need to worry about the timing… but if they did, they’d have 5 minutes in round 6 and 4 minutes per pick in round 7. Enjoy.
