Laddie Morse
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! The Kansas City Chiefs have done the improbable. After playing a horrible game as recently as the Day of Christmas, a 20-to-14 loss to the hated Las Vegas Raiders in Arrowhead Stadium, they turned their season around completely and made it to, then won Super Bowl LVIII, three days ago.
.
.
That’s the reason for the parade today — a Super Bowl LVIII victory — which starts at 6th and Grand St. and proceeds South all the way to Union Station while remaining on Grand. That’s where the party will get started at 12:45 PM CST. Here’s a map.

Local School Closings
From KSHB here are the school closings reported to them:
.
.
The stage is already set up and the festivities are ready to roll.
.
.
I don’t expect Patrick Mahomes to be quite as wasted as he was last year at the parade:
.
.
“K.C. always shows up and shows out.”
-PMII
.
.
Will LB Leo Chenal pull him self up to the second level this year? I seriously doubt it, but expect surprises!!!
.
.
Chiefs PRIDE says it all:
.
.
.
.
“I just want to let ya’ll know, that this is just the
beginning. We ain’t done yet. So, I’ll make sure I
hit you all back next year and I hope the crowd’s
the same. Appreciate you all, let’s go baby”
.
Go Chiefs!
