It’s Raiders Week. You know what that means, right? It means an extra level of preparedness and physicality. If you didn’t know already, the CHiefs hold a “slight” advantage over the Raider with a 73–55–2 record. That’s “Slight” as in: feeble, disdain, disparage, scorn, or pooh-pooh. I especially like “pooh-pooh”… as all of these describe the feelings Chiefs fans have for the Raiders, but “pooh” is especially apt. You add another pooh to it, and viola! Or “BINGO” is you’re in Vegas.

Andy Reid
Head Coach Andy Reid was asked this week about the DeAndre Hopkins trade to which he replied:
.
“Veach is dealing with all that. I’m hush on that.”
.
Reid was asked again about Hopkins and I love how he replied to that query:
.
“I Know Nothingk!

Of course Andy Reid just said “I know nothing” but the quote reminded me of the old television show.

Patrick Mahomes
Patrick Mahomes was asked about the transition period for his newest WR and he said:
.
“I think the biggest thing is just getting with the coaches.
I think our coaches do a great job of getting guys up to
speed, and you’ve seen that throughout this year already.
Bringing in guys, getting them up to speed fast and let-
ting them go out there and make an impact and do what
they’re great at.”

DeAndre Hopkins
DeAndre Hopkins was asked about what number he’d be wearing with the Chiefs since #10 appears to be taken by Isiah Pacheco. Although WR Justin Ross has worn # 8 before, DHop indicated he’d be wearing that number. Here’s evidence:

“Kobe Bryant, one of my favorite athletes of all time.
So I knew if I ever got the chance to wear No. 8, just
like when I picked No. 10, Messi was my favorite
soccer player underdog, felt like me at the time
coming out of college, and Kobe,
No. 8’s a special number.”

DeAndre Hopkins was also asked about what’s in it for him to play for Chiefs?
.
“Playing meaningful football in
January is what’s left on the list.”

Steve Spagnuolo
Spags was asked about Christian Roland-Wallace and he said he’s referred to as C-Row… like Zero only with a C, instead of a Z, in front. Here’s part of Spags presser:
.
“He’s (Christian Roland-Wallace) earned everything
he’s gotten right now. He came in as a free agent. He
made the team. He made the roster. He made
the 53. He’s earned playing time. I don’t
know if you know this, Dave (Toub) and I have talked
every week about getting him in there in games. We
got him in there last week… even before Jaylen got hurt,
I can’t even remember, but we’ve been talking about it a
lot. I guess what I’m saying is, he’s earned the right to
get some playing time, So, you’ll see him in and out of
there.”

Spags talks more about Christian Roland-Wallace and addresses whether or not he might be a replacement of Jaylen Watson. Spags is a delight in his pressers as you can see.
