The Kansas City Chiefs, and new GM Brett Veach, have made a deal with the Seattle Seahawks to send their Pro Bowl linebacker DJ Alexander in exchange for linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis.
The Chiefs have traded LB DJ Alexander to the Seahawks for LB Kevin Pierre-Louis.

DJ Alexander made the Pro Bowl for his Special Teams play so he will help the Seahawks in that arena while Kevin Pierre-Louis may end up getting some reps at ILB for the Chiefs because in Seattle it would take an act of God to unseat starters KJ Wright or Bobby Wagner.
DJ Alexander stand 6-foot-2 and goes 234 lbs while Kevin Pierre-Louis is 6-foot-even and weighs 230 lbs. Both men are fast for linebackers with DJ running a 4.56 40-yard dash but KP-L runs a 4.51 40. Kevin Pierre-Louis is a hitter and and his speed should be able to give the Chiefs some coverage flexibility when he’s on the field. However, it’s hard to see him covering many tight ends in the NFL as he’ll be giving up sometimes 6-to-7 inches.
What do you think Chiefs fans? Was this a good move for the Chiefs… and Brett Veach?
