The Chiefs first practice was a win for the most part. A win because no one was hurt. Although, ILB Reggie Ragland reported to camp with some swelling on his knee so he was asked to sit out. No one knows if he’ll have to sit a few days or a few weeks. Overall though, the first day of camp was a success.
The highlight of the day was a bomb to Sammy Watkins from Patrick Mahomes:

Some writers want to compare the Chiefs new spangled offense to “The Greatest Show on Turf” however, I have a different take. We know that Sammy Watkins has referred to himself as a lizard of some kind…
I’m a whole different species im convince im not a human never was im more like a advance reptilian solar being I’m very powerful it’s kinda scares me lol… 🤔🤫🤭🤗😂

Tyreek Hill is sometimes called the Cheetah…

and Travis Kelce is nicknamed Zeus and the Zeus animal is an eagle…
I literally tweeted Travis Kelce today since he once went by the nickname Zeus for half a season.
I thought I’d let him know that in Greek mythology, Zeus led the Olympian revolt which defeated the Titans and allowed the gods to take power.

… and RB Kareem Hunt once appeared on Good Morning Football and sank a 10-foot put then said, “Call me baby Tiger Woods.” So, we also have a tiger in the backfield.

Plus, you have to admit that Patrick Mahomes looks a bit like a Lion, in a certain light.
So, I was thinking that this offense should be called, “King of the Jungle”… or maybe “Kingdom of the Jungle” or perhaps “Fantastics Beasts of the Kingdom”… or how about, just, “Jungle Love.”
In any event, enjoy the second day of the Chiefs Training Camp right here on ArrowheadOne. I’ll be posting comments and Twitter feeds all morning. Then, at noon don’t miss Paul Pulley’s piece called,
“Chiefs Roster Turnover: Who’s Left Since 2013.”
Go Chiefs!
