Chiefs: Whoopsie Doozy

Chiefs: Whoopsie Doozy – Could the 2020 Kansas City Chiefs have had a perfect season if they had beaten the Raiders in Arrowhead? I predicted they would be 16-and-0. Whoopsie Doozy! The 2007 NE Patriots were perfect, until they weren’t… Whoopsie Doozy… and HAHAHA! Sometimes things just don’t work out the way we want them to, do they. Sometimes in an even bigger way than usual!

FAIL-A-BRATIONS

If you are playing the Kansas City Chiefs, I have a suggestion: don’t celebrate a victory too early in the game because if these Chiefs have proven anything, it’s that they can come back from almost any deficit. .

I’m sure Deshaun Watson isn’t playing the air guitar this offseason… but that’s another issue (or long set of issues). Before Watson’s nightmare was over, his team fell ahead by 24-to-nothing before Mr. Mahomes and his band of Zoomy friends scored 41 straight points.

Apparently the 49ers didn’t learn from Deshaun either. Whoopsie Doozy!

ANI-MAYBE FER SUR

If you’re under the impression that the Kansas City Chiefs are only popular in Missouri… that’s one thing… if you think they’re only popular in the United State… that’s another thing. You’d have to say: Whoopsie Doozy. These Chiefs are popular around the world and here’s good proof of their global popularity.

Above, “Yu-Gi-Oh Fans Celebrate Chiefs’ Super Bowl Win Thanks to One Player’s Duelist Status.

I have to admit that this section is meant to pay homage to my granddaughter Emilie, who adores anime (but then, I adore her more than she adores anime). She has me watching My Hero Academia and it’s actually quite good… when I’m not watching Chiefs football of course!

Super Bowl Newbies

I keep wondering what players like rookies: RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire or DT Tershawn Wharton or someone like CB L’Jarius Sneed, who went to Louisiana Tech, are thinking as they head to their first Super Bowl? Harold Kunst asked Sneed a “Whoopsie Doozy” question but Sneed sniffed it out and gave the right answer when asked: “Do you consider yourself a member of Sack Nation now?

Also, when asked if he ever saw himself being part of a Super Bowl team he said: “I’m still learning, I’m still growing. I have a lot of work that I have ot put in, but we gettin’ better, day by day.” I’m a big fan of real humility and hard work, so Sneed appears to have both. No mistake about it. As for Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Dan Orlovsky thinks CEH could be the Super Bowl MVP. I’m hoping there’s no “Whoopsie Doozy” about that prediction!

What is Juan Thornhill thinking and feeling these days as well? He had a great rookie year in 2019 but got hurt then couldn’t play in the playoffs or Super Bowl LIV. He must be pinching himself because not every team is able to get back to the Super Bowl two years running!

FIGHT 4 UR RIGHT

When I contemplate the many Super Bowl celebrations I’ve watched of other teams over the years, none is as memorable as when Travis Kelce grabbed the mic and shouted, “I’ll tell you what, it’s been 7 years coming baby. I’ve learned one thing since I’ve been here: “You’ve gotta fight, for your right, to parrrrrrty!” All other SB celebrations seem to fall by the wayside. IOW… Whoopsie Doozy!

Yes, I added the music but every time I play this clip, I can’t help but smile as big a smile as a person can smile! No matter what kind of celebration or words are spoken following future SB victories, nothing will ever top that! However, I could be mistaken. In which case: Whoopsie Doozy!
