Great Meme Wars of 2019: Chiefs vs Packers

Great Meme Wars of 2019: Chiefs vs Packers – Last week was a “meme-less” week for Arrowhead One. It was as if nobody’s heart was in it. The memes were just not there.

Perhaps the dejection Chiefs fans felt after two consecutive losses was too much. Could it be that memes are no longer in vogue for Chiefs Kingdom?  Or maybe the fanbase is no longer in the mood for mem– errrr!

Scratch that.  Everything that I just wrote is wrong.  Turns out that even with Mahomes’ injury in Thursday night’s game against the Broncos, memes are once again in fashion.  And judging from social media, Chiefs Kingdom is the new Milan!

Losing Mahomes put a damper on our hopes and enthusiasm, to be sure.  We were happy to win the game for sure, but the cost seemed exorbitant.

Watching PMII go down was traumatic for Chiefs fans.

Throughout Chiefs Kingdom, there was much pulling of hair and gnashing of teeth.  Their cries echoed throughout the nation.

And for a few days, the kingdom was a sad, dark, desolate place while fans grappled with their grief and worry, wondering how they might help.

So not only did we worry and wait …

… Mahomes worried and waited, as well.

Then came the news that our MVP would be OK.

Chiefs Kingdom breathed a sigh of relief and further learned that their relationship with the Red and Gold might just be a healthy one.

In fact, Chiefs fans were feeling pretty good about the remainder of the season.

Even Mahomes assured us of his return.

Once again, hope springs eternal in the Kingdom.

Perhaps a little bit too much hope!

In fact, the Kingdom was feeling so giddy over the good news, we even had time to make fun of the sad-sack Broncos.  Actually, it is our “Chiefly” duty to make fun of the Broncos!

And all throughout our entire times and tribulations of heartache, hope, and hype, the hated Patriots remained undefeated.

But enough about a foe we face in the future.  Our focus is on “next up.” Speaking of the Packers, oddly their fans did not seem too interested in having a Meme War with Chiefs Kingdom.  It’s almost as if they’re not worried because they have a secret weapon that we don’t yet know about.

However, please don’t rest too easy yet, so-called leader of the Dark Side.  Your time draws near.

And, this just in, Tommy B has picked his outfit for Halloween.  Turns out it’s the same one he’s worn since 2000!
