It’s here. The Kansas City Chiefs 2018 Schedule just came out and there’s plenty to love and loathe. So, let’s get into the loving and the loving to hate… or how ever that works for you. Much has already been made of the Chiefs big Sunday evening game in Mexico City vs the Los Angeles Rams on November 19th at 7:15 PM (Central time). Fortunately this will be an AWAY game for the Chiefs so we don’t lose a game in Arrowhead Stadium like we did when the team traveled to London a couple of years back. First, let’s take a look at the overall schedule then we can discuss our reactions.
Sept. 9 at Los Angeles Chargers, 4:05 p.m. (CBS)
Sept. 16 at Pittsburgh Steelers, 1 p.m. (CBS)
Sept. 23 vs. San Francisco 49ers, 1 p.m. (FOX)
Oct. 1 at Denver Broncos, 8:15 p.m. (ESPN)
Oct. 7 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars, 1 p.m. (CBS)
Oct. 14 at New England Patriots, 8:20 p.m. (NBC)
Oct. 21 vs. Cincinnati Bengals, 1 p.m. (CBS)
Oct. 28 vs. Denver Broncos, 1 p.m. (CBS)
Nov. 4 at Cleveland Browns, 1 p.m. (CBS)
Nov. 11 vs. Arizona Cardinals, 1 p.m. (FOX)
Nov. 19 at Los Angeles Rams (Mexico City), 8:15 p.m. (ESPN)
Nov. 25 — BYE
Dec. 2 at Oakland Raiders, 4:05 p.m. (CBS)
Dec. 9 vs. Baltimore Ravens, 1 p.m. (CBS)
Dec. 13 vs. Los Angeles Chargers, 8:20 p.m. (FOX/NFLN)
Dec. 23 at Seattle Seahawks, 8:20 p.m. (NBC)
Dec. 30 vs. Oakland Raiders, 1 p.m. (CBS)
Before getting too far down the road with the schedule discussion, I want to point out that the game between the Chiefs and the Browns will be relevant for the first time in years. Yes, they have acquired a number of players who I consider reliable players to lead them out of the malaise they’ve been in for a decade or more, but they have also… hired the fired. Clark Hunt fired John Dorsey as the Chiefs GM last summer then Dorsey was hired by the Browns to change the culture… much like he helped to do here in K.C.. So, that game will have some bit of dramatic flare attached to it.

You know what… I won’t miss the sour-faced looks he gives sometimes.
