K.C. Chiefs Training Camp Open Thread: Day Twelve

The 2017 Kansas City Chiefs have their first preseason game under their collective belts and we know a little more about the identity of this team. As I mentioned yesterday, the front 50 players are deep while the back 30 are… not so deep. When it comes right down to it, there are two more weeks and many of the decisions about the roster will be made by then. The third preseason game is when the Chiefs usually start their first team and have them play together for about a half of the game and sometimes into the 3rd Quarter. So, by then, the first team will be fairly well cemented and the 2nd team will likely be known… not to us… but to the powers that be.

That’s why these training camp practices are so important… especially the next 14 days. By the way, there’s only three more St. Joe Training Camp days after today. I’m sorry to have missed it but trying to sell your house and move from one state to another has it’s trials.

• 9:15 a.m.  Wednesday, Aug 16 – Last Day of Training Camp – Military Appreciation Day – Final Camp Practice
