Alright, it’s just the preseason, but like T.J. Carpenter from WHB said, “Seahawks win. Preseason doesn’t matter… But the Chiefs find a way to make it hurt anyway.” The reality is… it does not matter.
If you’re like me you’re diving deep into the Darknet deliriously in search of more inside information on the making of a championship in the Kansas City Chiefs. Then again, maybe you’re just having a case of the… Monday Morning Preseason Post-game Twitter Jitters.
Consider yourself safe here, no one will crawl out of the screen of your computer from deep down in that dastardly dank Darknet… although I do know some writers that I’m not so sure about. I’m not naming any names here… but you made it this far… you might as well stick around for some more torture… can’t be any worse than Saturday (and a cheery, happy Monday morning to you too).
Here’s what every Chiefs fan should be talking about at the water cooler today.
UPON FURTHER REVIEW
At Chiefs.com Andy Reid had a short analysis on the 6 players listed below. Including this about DL Chris Jones,
“I thought he made some really good plays. One thing he did well was get off the ball. He’s very long, so he was able to reach and make plays all over. I thought he did a good job at playing on the other side of the line of scrimmage. He also got a few different looks and was able to go up against a few different players.”
WR Tyreek Hill
DL Chris Jones
LB Dezman Moses
TE Ross Travis
CB DJ White
LB Ramik Wilson

Sam Mellinger, at the K.C. Star, thinks the Chiefs will need to see something different out of OLB Dee Ford than what we saw on Saturday.
Just a preseason game, blah blah blah, but the Chiefs are going to need more than that from Dee Ford. https://t.co/APwTqxS9hg

B.J. Kissel has a piece called, “There’s A Pattern To The Chaos” in which he talks with both Alex Smith and Jeremy Maclin who each explain what happened on their broken play touchdown at the beginning of the Chiefs preseason game against Seattle. Good read.

And finally, this fun little OUTTAKE from Henry H. Marshall. Enjoy!
While doing a standup 4 my @chiefs story, I was surprised by one of Alex Smith’s sons. Quite the cameo! #HILARIOUSpic.twitter.com/BSPXOKmUWP

Training Camp Practice begins at 8:15 this morning. I will be in meetings this morning. Jason Seibel will have a piece up at 6:00a.m. so feel free to embed tweets there all you want. I’ll check in when possible. If you’re heading up to St. Joe today, the wide receivers and tight ends will be having an autograph session today.
Go Chiefs!!!
