If your not prepared to follow the NFL Scouting Combine, you may have already miss the Wide Receiver showing last night, and with the Kansas City having a giant need at #2WR, we may have already shown up. First of all, can you imagine a Chiefs Wide Receiver room in which Tyreek Hill is the second fastest man?
While Tyquan Thornton may actually be faster than Hill, I doubt he’s as quick as Tyreek, and let’s remember there have been plenty of speed demons at the combine, who never achieve much in the NFL. Also, Tyquan Thornton ranks as the 246 best overall prospect by DrafTek, so he may get a lot of GM taking another look at his tape, I doubt that will ever result in much.
Another WR that I’d love to see fall to K.C. Drake London out of USC:
The reason I say, “Fall to K.C.” is that DrafTek has him ranked at 18 and the same is true for CBS Sports. However, if he does fall, into the 20s, I can see Brett Veach making a move up the draft board, partly of that is due to PFF calling London the best WR in this draft:
Did you have any take-aways from last night’s combine workouts?
