Alright Kansas City Chiefs fans… it has begun. The horses are out of the barn for the first time since winter and the players are filing onto the field.

Now that’s what I’ve been waiting to see since January! Kissel also reports that there are 30 players warming up today.

Looks like we’ll be waiting to see Jamaal Charles this season. Andy Reid says this in not a set back and that he’s on track. However, it’s a set back for fans for fans.
Jamaal Charles was placed on the PUP list.

Eric Murray makes his presence known early.
Rookie defensive back Eric Murray had a couple of nice pass breakups today at #ChiefsCamp. Probably top two plays.

Phillip Gaines is all present and accounted for.
Phillip Gaines was on the field for the start of 7-on-7 drills. Moved well. Probably the most significant individual story of the day.

Mike Williams showing his red zone promise early on.
WR Mike Williams also made a nice catch in the red zone. Good to see him on the field after missing OTAs and minicamp w/ hamstring injury.

Good news from Gaines.
Phillip Gaines said there’s no pain in his knee anymore, but it’s just about getting the stiffness out.

Speed thrills… even the other players.
Two straight days w/ players at #Chiefs camp and a name continues to come up: WR Tyreek Hill. Players uniform in raving about Hill’s speed.

Good to hear confidence coming from 6-foot-2 inch six-year vet WR Mike Williams,
“I think I might be better.”
Williams, who stressed he doesn’t want to seem overconfident, likes where he’s at compared to early in career.
