Any time your team has reach a certain level of fame, they have become a cultural and social ideal that makes them popular. Of course, that’s like saying… they are popular because they are popular. What I mean is, our Kansas City Chiefs have bcoem so successful that they have reached a level of popularity that rarely comes with being an NFL Team.
.
Head Coach Andy Reid
Reid is not only known for being one of hte best all time Head coaches — ever — but he’s now recognized for hsi love of Hamburgers and that can be seen in his commercial.
.
.
I often like to think of Andy Reid like a Wimpy character from Popeye. However, if you type Andy Reid and Cartoon into Goggle you’ll also get Don Carlton from Monster’s University.
.
QB Patrick Mahomes
Alan Haupt used to write for us and the above graphic is taken from his piece called: “The Kansas City Chiefs: Cartoon Version” four years ago. Here’s a depiction by Dan Rappocio of Mahomes as Kermit the Frog (probably because many have joked with Mahomes about his voice sounding like Kermit the Frog when he first came out of Texas Tech):
.
.
What I find funny about this cartoon is the Ketchup bottle next to the football Kermit is about to “carve” up.
.
CB Trent McDuffie
.
.
TE Travis Kelce
.
.
When do we ever see Travis Kelce NOT dancing?
.
CEO Clark Hunt
.
.
Seems fitting since Hunt is from Texas and when do you ever see Yosemite Sam without a gun?
.
DT Chris Jones
.
.
Of all the Chiefs players, Chris Jones is the scariest. For sure.
.
RB Isiah Pacheco
.
.
WR Xavier Worthy
.
.
?? Taylor Swift
.
K Harrison Butker
.
WR Rashee Rice
.
CEO’s Daughter Gracie Hunt

Over four years ago, we at ArrowheadOne.com published a piece called,”The Chiefs: If Hollywood Came Calling” (and it looks like Hollywood — Brown — did come calling) which included this video of Brad Pitt impersonating Dr. Anthony Fauci for Saturday Night Live… because we were in the middle of the Corona Virus pandemic. Here it is again (3:12):
.
.
GM Brett Veach
In that same piece mentioned above, we published this picture:
.
.
DC Steve Spagnuolo
.
.
Many of you may not see the resemblance, but Falkor was a character in the movie “Never Ending Story” back in 1984 and his loyalty was amazing. I see Steve Spagnuolo the same way (no wonder all his players buy-in so quickly).
Are there other Chiefs characters you have an association with?
