Tyreek Hill: He’s Baaack… Almost – the Kansas City Chiefs Wide Receiver Tyreek Hill has been sited on the practice field today:

As much as I have wanted him to go slow in his recovery process, it’s exciting to see one of the most explosive players in the history of the game out there taking reps, even if it is only in practice. The Chiefs are saying that they will take it slow in bringing him back:

As you may recall, Hill was could be seen taking practice reps prior to the game in Detroit:

I must say, he looks good there and although it’s hard for me to imagine just how it’s possible that he could come back from a serious injury so quickly, the timeline for recovery from a clavicle separation is between 4-to-6 weeks. So, if Hill is indeed a fast healer, as many professional athletes are given their superior genes and assistance from the best care staffs on the planet, I guess it is possible. Here’s a better close up of Hill in practice today:

You have to admit, he looks pretty good here. What my concerns are… are related to the post-season when the Chiefs will need him the most. If he has a recurrence of this injury four of five games from now, that could jeopardize his return in time for the postseason. If you are a Chiefs fan, you don’t want to see how the offense would do without Hill in the lineup but that’s exactly what we’ve seen in the past four weeks. All victories.

Last year, many outsiders were saying that the reason Mahomes was so good… was that he had Hill and Hunt with him. Well, we’ve seen how Mahomes does now without either of them so, it’s time to move on and see how Mahomes does with Hill back in form. So, how long will it take until Hill is back to where he was athletically?

Also, Damien Williams was back at practice today too. Good News Abounds! So, who knows when both DWill & Hill are going to return to the lineup… but it looks like it will be sooner than later and are no longer on that dreaded: day-to-day designation. 🤕
