There are 9 days until the 2018 NFL Draft. Each day we’ll provide a bit of fun facts about the Kansas City Chiefs… or perhaps a trivia question. Since we have “9” days until this draft… the theme today is 9.
These featured former Chiefs players both wore number 99: Mike Bell and Ernie Ladd.
#99 DL Ernie Ladd was part of the Chiefs from 1967-to-1968. He was 6-foot-9 inches tall and weighed 315 lbs. Place him next to 6-foot-7 inch Buck Buchanan and you have one scary looking defensive line. He also played for the Houston Oilers and the San Diego Chargers (who drafted him in 1961). Ladd later had a Professional Wrestling career as “The Big Cat.” For you Pro Wrestling officiandoes, because Ladd was so big he used to refer to “Andre the Giant” as “The Big Fat French Fry.”
Trivia “9” Question: The following QB’s jersey numbers adds up to “9.”
Who has thrown the most completed passes in a game as a Chiefs player?
Who has had the most passing yards in a game as a Chiefs player?
Who has had the most consecutive games with a TD pass as a Chiefs player?
The same player is the answer to all of those questions, so, who is it?
To get the answer, scroll to the bottom of his page, then turn your computer upside down :).
