Great Meme Wars of 2019: Chiefs vs Texans – Unfortunately, it was slim-pickin’s for memes this week in anticipation of the Kansas City Chiefs battle against the Houston Texans on Sunday. Chiefs fans obviously were still in mourning (and a little salty) from last Sunday’s home loss to the Indianapolis Colts. While Texans fans were still jubilant over last Sunday’s 50+ points-scored victory over the ferocious, 27th-ranked, 1-4 Atlanta Falcons.
But, much like the Chiefs, we always find a way here at Arrowhead One. So here goes. Enjoy.
As is always the case, fans looked for someone to blame. Just like last year, much of Chiefs Kingdom zeroed in on the defense.
However, true Chiefs fans, while disappointed in the loss, just could not find it in them to deny their team:
Predictably, the rest of the NFL also took the loss as an opportunity to take shots at the Chiefs.
Despite their disappointment, many Chiefs fans quickly put the loss behind them, and reasserted their Chiefs Kingdom citizenship.
Face it, even the announcers love the Chiefs.
In our never-ending support of the Chiefs, we at ArrowheadOne are doing our part to help the Kingdom get over Sunday’s loss. We can think of no better way than to poke fun at our division rivals.
Meanwhile, in Denver, quarterback Joe Flacco just learned he plays the Chiefs in less than two weeks.
Hopefully, you have put last week’s anomaly behind you and are looking forward to taking it to the Texans this Sunday.
After all, there are worse things Chiefs fans face.
