So, the discussion is just beginning, containing nouns such as GOAT, Dynasty, and HoF. Yes, this discussion is already underway.

The Super Bowl proves that point (of course, now we know the result).

The reason I believe the Chiefs win is that they have a defense that can hold the game within reach while our future GOAT — QB — seals the deal.

Who are the coaches and players entering the stage (entering, stage right), and must we consider the team and staff in the conversation? This conversation will take time to see what occurs. However, I note some important players & entities:

Dynasty

Is a SB 58 victory a required accomplishment? For the word Dynasty to be applied to the Chiefs team… Yes!

Underdogs

The short answer is no, but a win as an underdog in back-to-back appearances in the Super Bowl would go far in being able to apply to the various entities the use of the Nouns I listed. After all, in the game vs. the Eagles, the Chiefs were the underdog, and they were also underdogs in the contest with the 49ers. The Team pulled together and won three AFC Playoff Games to get to the Super Bowl.

Comeback Babies

As the game result proves several points, I want to observe the end of the first quarter: DE Anudike-Uzomoah got a stop in the backfield vs. McCaffrey, forcing a 3rd and 14. On the first play of the 2nd quarter, CB Trent McDuffie defended a pass against Debo Samuel that forced a 4th and 14. Yes, the 49ers got the three, but it then came to a head when the 49ers made it 10-0. This led to another epic comeback by the Chiefs. They set a record for comebacks in the Super Bowl with the resulting win.

Perseverance

This team is close in proximity to one another. They pull for their fellow players, pushing them to the top. The camaraderie is outstanding on both sides of the ball, including special teams! They persevered as a team and won SB LVIII in OT!

Eras and Article Autopsies

As I write this article on Saturday evening, I am taking the initiative and anticipating that the Chiefs will win! It’s part of creating an era in football, such as the Patriots and Brady or Bradshaw and the Steelers. I believe the Chiefs have a good shot at applying the noun: “Dynasty” to the team. Today is the day before the game is played. That is what I believe will happen tomorrow evening. I’d hate to have to go back and perform an autopsy on this article and apply the game’s results. That would be like saying that the 49ers are better than sliced bread. They are not, but, they are a very good team with few weaknesses.

As it turned out, the game ended with Mahomes & Kelce heroics in OT: Chiefs 25, 49ers 22!

Foregone Conclusions

Above in my list, you will find entries with exclamation points. The reason for its use is that those are foregone conclusions. Where I used a question mark are entries that the outcome remains in the Cloudy mist of the unknown future, but could well happen, mainly if the player stays with the Chiefs.

We will see that the players I listed ascend to new levels when all is said and done. Our Future GOAT QB will find ways to deliver the game for the Team with red jerseys! Chiefs Win an Outstanding Game in OT!

The 49ers and Kyle Shanahan could not “Deal with the Chiefs!”

Threepeat

Can the Chiefs “Threepeat?” I think it’s possible, but a lot of offseason work needs to be done to make it happen. GM Brett Veach faces a daunting task… keeping Chris Jones, L’Jarius Sneed, Willie Gay or Drue Tranquill if possible, would go a long way towards making a Threepeat a reality. Plus, we will still need another WR as a counterpoint to what Rashee Rice has accomplished!
