Do you guys remember CB Dale Carter? If you do, you’re old enough to recall what living in the 1990s was like AND being a K.C. Chiefs fan simultaneously. Well, if you remember Dale Carter… AND… have ever complained about Marcus Peters penchant for not tackling, my question for you is, why?

Gaining a Sense of Perspective
Could it be that many of us have lost perspective and that our expectations are so high that the possibility that the Chiefs have a losing season means were ready to dump the head coach who brought us not only a winning season each year but playoffs on a regular basis… or was it… Alex Smith?
I know what you are doing. He is the most successful QB the Chiefs have had in the playoffs since 1994, but you can ignore that if you want. How many other Chiefs QBs have brought KC to January in 4 out of and 5 year span? The culture changed in 2013. That’s a fact.

It’s probably funny because a lot has happened since then and it’s a bit like going back and watching your high school prom video. Well, maybe not. It’s time for… Did You Know That?
1) the Cleveland Brown have 6 of the first 65 picks in the 2018 NFL draft? Picks: 1, 4, 33, 34, 64, & 65.
2) from 1994 to 2013 — a 20 year span — 23 out of 29 of the teams with the most draft picks, made the playoffs in the following 3 years. Looks like Dorsey has it, made in the shade.
3) in 2017, Patrick Mahomes was ranked #23 on the DrafTek’s Big Board and Mike Mayock had him at #32?
4) in the 2004 draft — also considered a QB’s Draft — Eli Manning, Philip Rivers and Ben Roethlisberger were all taken in the first 11 picks? Do you expect that one more could go in that span in 2018? I do.
