K.C. Chiefs Training Camp Open Thread: Day Fifteen

It’s all downhill from here. Downhill to the season. This is officially the last day of the Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp. However, the forecast calls for thunderstorms from 8:00 AM until afternoon so if there is camp, it will either be out in the pouring rain or indoors because of lightening.

If a nice crowd shows up and there’s no lightening there is likely to be practice outdoors. Since practice doesn’t start until 9:15 AM and practice is also supposed to be a truncated practice… because it’s also Military Appreciation Day… there’s a possibility it will move indoors. Keep it right here and I’ll let you know as soon as it happens. However, that call is probably not going to be made until sometime in the morning.

On Monday, the unique aspect of practice saw Zach Fulton trying out at Tackle. Coaches wanted to see if he could not only play Guard and Center… which he’s already proven that he can… but the Tackle position as well. In post practice interviews on Monday, coaches made it clear that they value “position flexibility.” On Tuesday, the unique feature of practice was 6-foot-7, 290 lb. Tanoh Kpassagnon practicing at Outside Linebacker. He’s athletic enough so it will be intriguing to follow that story. We’ll keep you posted. Otherwise, Tuesday’s practice was loads of fun with lots of action like this:
