The Kansas City Chiefs have finally done it. They signed the first round pick that they traded up to the tenth spot in the draft for to select their quarterback of the future, Patrick Mahomes II.

The Chiefs signed Mahomes to a 4-year deal on Thursday with a $10M signing bonus.

The Chiefs should still be fine when you look at Mahomes deal up against the current cap situation (this was as of yesterday). The Chiefs can head to training camp with everyone signed sealed and delivered. Now it’s up to head coach Andy Reid and his staff to get the best out of these men.
