Scariest Chiefs Halloween Ever

Scariest Chiefs Halloween Ever – the Kansas City Chiefs have played on Halloween day but not for many years now, I believe the last time was in 2011. Two years ago the Chiefs played the day before Halloween, on October 30, and beat the Broncos, 29-to-19, at Arrowhead. The Chiefs beat the Colts the year before that on Oct 30th, 30-to-14, at Lucas Oil Stadium. In 2015, the Chiefs played the Lions in London, one day after Halloween and won, 45-to-10.

So, the last time the Chiefs played on Halloween was, on October 31, 2011, in a 23-to-20 win over the Chargers at Arrowhead. Isn’t it funny how Phillip Rivers has never been a scary symbol to Chiefs fans?

Tonight, Halloween night, the 7-and-0 San Francisco 49ers will visit the 3-and-4-and-1 Arizona Cardinals on Thursday Night Football.

One of the scariest memories as a Chiefs fan is this sight of the Oakland Raiders original owner, Al Davis:

Since I’m a, turnabout’s-fair-play proprietor, here’s the Chiefs current owner, Clark Hunt, with his head in a jar:

Since we’re kind of on the subject of the Raiders… here’s perhaps the scariest image of all:

For those Alien, and Dog, fans (knowing that dog pictures are hot right now!)… here’s:

I don’t know if you put Ketchup on your Steak or not, but to me it’s a scary idea…

If you’re a Kansas City Chiefs fan, then you know that no one from the Chiefs organization has ever held the Lamar Hunt Trophy (the symbol of winning the AFC title)… which is named after the man who started the AFL in 1960, and the Chiefs original owner, Lamar Hunt. The Halloween nightmare is watching anyone… like Peyton Manning… hold that trophy.

Next, let’s take a look at some scary t-shirts. Some will be scary to Chiefs opponents and some will be scary to Chiefs fans:

If you’ve seen the Goonies, you gotta love it! A mask and some iron on letters and you can make that one yourself.

Why? Just Why? It’s hard to think of a sacrier t-shirt for Chiefs fans. I have family living in the Denver area so I can’t think of a better Christmas gift than….

How about a Jon-o-Lantern? Scarier than any Jack or Chucky. Am I right?!

Now, if you’re walking down the street and see a guy who looks like this in a hoodie coming towards you… cross the street!

Not sure why… but… I actually find the following picture of NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell comforting… hehehehe (that’s a maniacal hehehehe)…

I don’t know if K.C. had a celebration for kids this year but, the Chiefs sponsored a Halloween Bash for kids on October 16, 2018. Tyreek Hill pictured.

The 2019 Referees have been waaaay scarier than they have been ever before and, I didn’t think that was even possible… thus…

Is there anything scarier than having a celebrity change allegiance? BTW… this is not real.

While I believe that the Chiefs Travis Kelce has been the best tight end in the NFL for many years, it would be scary if the Patriots Rob Gronkowski decided that he’s coming back. FYI, he’s not:

I know the Chiefs have won a Prime time game… but I can’t remember when that was.

While Oakland’s Black Hole fans used to be a little scary to me, the fact that they are an endangered species and have a shelf life with a specific expiration date, they simply look like bad Halloween characters now. The Raiders are 7-and-16 under Jon Gruden. A .300 winning percentage… or is that a “losing percentage?” Either way… it’s not good. Not even their temporary fans are scary any more. Black Hole fans will only get to remember the Chiefs beating them there… and consequently, they shall forevermore be known as…

Raiders Elimi-Nation.

I don’t know if you heard the story about the Chiefs fan who was also a construction worker in Las Vegas who buried a Chiefs Kingdom flag under their new stadium… but don’t you just love it? Now, Raiders fans will be scared of the curse for decades to come. What a peaceful thought.

With a 50 year absence from the Super Bowl, here’s the only trophy the Chiefs have earned there since January of 1970.

I have to admit, seeing Neil Smith in a Denver Broncos jersey, or Derrick Johnson in a Raiders jersey, or hearing that Jamaal Charles had always wanted to be a Broncos player when he was growing up… was scary enough for my fragile Chiefs Kingdom fanatical sensibilities… but when Marty Schottenheimer became the San Diego Chargers Head Coach… that was the last straw. Sure, I still love those people, but… enough is enough… because none of that was even really Halloween! So… what scares you these days, Chiefs fans?

Laddie Morse — ArrowheadOne- Happy Halloween!
