With only five selections to the Pro Bowl (PB), the Chiefs have been slighted. L’Jarius Sneed deserved a selection. So did Trent McDuffie. With Chris Jones being the only Defensive player to make the NFL Pro Bowl roster, Steve Spagnuolo’s defense has been insulted. It’s a disgrace to the NFL and their selection committee really. While the Chiefs players have been overlooked in many instances… their season has been less than sensational, especially offensively… the likely reason for the oversight.

If the Pro Bowl selection committee had made their choices two weeks ago, Harrison Butker’s name would have been included with the Special Teams members.

With only Chris Jones making the PB on defense, it shows that this is a team game and DC Spags has pulled a masterful feat in getting all of his “non-pro bowl talent” to play together as a unit. In a lot of games the D has had to make stops after the offense allowed them to fall behind and not keep pace.

Over on the NFC side, ex-Chief, Charvarius Ward was selected to the Pro Bowl. With both Ward and Tyreek Hill make the PB, that gives te Chiefs seven (7) Pro Bowlers who either, are or were, originally with the team.
